QUESTIONS ABOUT A PROJECT: Using iPads in the classroom

1. How would you describe this innovation from your point of view?

2. What kind of challenges do you think this team of educators has faced while implementing and developing that project?

3. What are the elements of this project that you find inspiring and that you might use to overcome some of your own challenges? 

I can describe this innovation as an achievement of an innovative teacher :) 

Always I think that all kind of project in education will be successful if the teacher is committed to its outcomes.  This project was developed in Mexico, and it started in August 2013, when the school gave an iPad to a teacher to use in his classroom. The success is due to the effort or endeavor made by the teacher who looked through many websites, read dozens of articles, watched a plethora of videos and used iPad in the classroom. And... what is more laudable is that this teacher creates fields of application using pedagogical principles, as instruction, assessment, differentiation and as a resource database. 

The first challenge that a team of educators will face is to be well organized to plan the implementing of a project. Well- organized mean that all of them should have the same objective, same needs, same commitment with the education they offer. Then, they can think how to explain this to the administrative area and other authorities, showing them how this project can benefit children and school. 

the fields of applications using pedagogical principle inspire me to continue keeping in mind that pedagogy is the first part of an educational project, and ICT  is the tool to reach the learning objectives.
